In production 1971-1974
One of the most prominent Finnish ceramics artist
professor Birger Kaipiainen (1915-1988) designed a tableware series called BK in 1969. In early 1970s it was launched to the markets in three different pattern: Paratiisi (Paradise) colored and black & white; Apila (Clover) and Sunnuntai (Sunday) decorations.
BK dinnerware, originally made of hard earthenware, was in production first only a short period, just from 1971 until 1974.
In 1988 BK model Paratiisi was taken back to production. Also Apila series tableware has been re-produced in 2006-2010.
